not your average day off

“Don’t Stay There” is Wise Mother’s first collective, giving mothers a chance to unify in ways that is most needed. We’re here for the intimate conversations, rooted connections and invaluable information.

Stemmed from a visit to a fellow mom friend who just birth her second child, she shared her yearning to get back into her craft. For most moms, creativity is abandoned as priorities are changing and, ultimately, we give ourselves a really hard time for that. I related with her as I, myself, was struggling to bring Wise Mother back after a hiatus due to my inability to make time, and in return, I would fall into a depression. It was a cycle that needed to be broken; it was a cycle that I couldn’t stay in any longer.

After running through countless ideas, seeking validation and falling backwards, questioning if I was taking on more than I could handle (oh, the irony), I kept coming back to one thing: I wanted a safe and closed space where moms can come together, have some adult conversations, listen to a few brilliant guest speakers, drink some good coffee and share some craft if they wanted to. We have to start somewhere.
